Let's Shout It From the Rooftops

A Marketing Maestro to Call Your Tune

Let me point out the elephant in the room straight away: AI can do everything, so why hire a human? Well, despite what GemiClaudeDeepChatGrokBot tells you, it might not be that simple. The novelty is wearing off, and the winds of humanity are shifting. Turns out soulless isn't as sexy as they said it'd be.

Are you tired of seeing AI content in your face everyday? Chances are your potential customers probably are too. The hard truth is that AI is going to be our future whether we like it or not, but that isn’t because most people want it to be. Generations now in college and younger will acclimate and grow into it, never knowing any different. But in the meantime, many folks would rather get back to good ol’ human interaction, and they will show their appreciation for it by supporting your business.

Don’t get me wrong, if a job required AI skills I would dive right into the prompt engineering and vibe coding waters with enthusiasm, because I love learning new skills and I’m legitimately curious to test its capabilities. It undoubtedly saves time, but saving companies money in the long run when they've become dependent and those token costs inevitably rise? Retaining healthy functioning brains and societies? Only time will tell, but I have my doubts.

And as for gaining customers? Well, I definitely wouldn't advertise how much you support data centers through your use of all that AI you rely on. And you probably shouldn't mention how you found your customer, since it was likely by way of some data center hoovering up their private information and feeding it to your AI agent. Actually, maybe best to keep the AI thing to yourself. Data centers are having a bit of a PR problem at the moment.

The fact is a lot of people just want a real human being to talk to these days. I know I do.

But maybe I’m wrong. I’m an old school marketing guy that believes in cultivating a product your proud to provide and using your unique voice to sell it, building relationships not only on social media but with local media outlets, catching eyeballs with appealing promo materials, earning repeat customers one interaction at a time, and allowing word of mouth to spread your service with a smile out to the world.

I honestly believe most people would prefer to hold on to this way of doing business for as long as we can muster, and that’s where I come in. I have years of experience creating websites, email campaigns, print and digital ads, promotional displays and compelling digital content and sales copy, while also maintaining an engaging social media presence and developing friendly communications with news media reporters and ad execs.

If your entrepreneurial endeavor is in need of more eyes and ears, I know how to draw them your way. Drop me a line and we’ll discuss how I can bring more business through your door.
